In 1994 a paranormal enthusiast named Jose Escamilla introduced the world to a new paranormal phenomenon unlike anything anyone had seen before. While investigating UFO sightings, Jose found himself face to face with a creature he never could have imagined… that day, Jose became the first man to come face to face with a Rod.
Over the years Jose appeared on many programs to expose the truth of his rods, frequently joining radio host Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM to discuss the creatures. Some were instantly enamored by the Rods, while others were reluctant to buy in to the story.
Tonight we take another look at the phenomenon of Rods, but this time we focus on the man behind the myth, Jose Escamilla. This is his story.
