Oh hey there Unbelievers…
40 years ago this month, film maker and director Stanley Kubrick released a film that would become an American Horror Classic titled The Shining.
The Shining, an adaptation of the Best Selling Stephen King Novel, tells the story of a young medium and his family being isolated in haunted hotel and the mental breakdown of the family’s father due to the seduction of the hotel’s evil forces. Since it’s release the film has impacted its viewers in many ways, becoming the archetype for future horror films while also leaving others seemingly obsessed with the true meaning (or meanings) behind the movie.
Tonight we take a look at a popular documentary titled “Room 237” which explores the MANY possible theories connected to the classic film… and these theories have range!
