As we all know, the world of cryptids is a strange one. Across the country, and around the world, many small towns and rural areas have their own boogermen turned Mascot. Rhinelander, Wisconsin is just one of those peculiar areas. For decades, local folkalore has kept the legend of The Hodag alive and well. Known as a strange hybrid looking horned creature on four legs, The Hodag supposedly roams the watery waterfront areas of the forest, snatching up turtles and other small animals, but he also has a mean thirst for human blood! In this episode, we dive deep into a new show for The Unbelievers, 2013’s “Boogeymen: Monsters Among Us”, where we find out the truth and legend about The Hodag from the native locals themselves.
